David Bosko has extensive experience in large, complex, litigation matters. He has litigated in state and federal courts in California and New York, has arbitrated multiple disputes, and has settled cases through mediation. He focuses his practice on finance, employment, and real estate disputes.

Jesse K. Bolling
Jesse Bolling has served as trial counsel for companies and executives in their most important business litigation matters. His practice includes extensive experience litigating actions involving lender liability, copyright, trademark, mergers and acquisitions, public nuisance, and RICO.

- Representing music manager in litigation against international rap star for breach of contract.
- Representing government entity against utility for damages and equitable relief in connection with natural resource disaster at utility’s facility.

Jeffery B. White
Jeff White is a complex commercial litigator with experience in the banking and financial services, healthcare, and consumer retail industries, among others. Colin J. Michel
Colin Michel is a commercial litigator with experience representing large and small companies in both state and federal court. His experience encompasses federal and state securities claims, contract disputes, business torts, and other areas of complex commercial litigation.

Sean McKissick
Sean McKissick has significant experience in a variety complex litigation matters, including of health care, breach of contract, labor code violations, and white-collar criminal defense, at both the state and federal levels.
Sean has also done a significant amount of pro bono work, focusing primarily on immigration concerns including individuals seeking asylum, victims of criminal activity seeking U nonimmigrant status, and deferred action for childhood arrivals. He has represented clients throughout the world, including Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Eritrea and Japan.
Representative Matters:
- Defended two separate qui tam actions filed against a northwest hospital system involving allegations of Medicare fraud and abuse, as well as state and federal claims of unlawful retaliation, culminating in favorable settlements.
- Conducted a thorough investigation of a hospital’s documentation and contracts in connection with possible Stark Law violations.
- Represented a medical group in arbitration against a disgruntled former member on breach of contract claims, ultimately securing a victory and an attorney’s fee award.
- Defended a major automotive parts distributor in connection with a felony complaint asserting alleged willful violations of state OSHA regulations. After a five-day preliminary hearing involving nearly a dozen fact and expert witnesses, criminal charges against the client were dismissed in their entirety.
- Represented an executive of a Japanese auto parts company in connection with a criminal investigation into antitrust allegations.

Colin H. Rolfs
Colin Rolfs represents clients in complex commercial disputes in state and federal court. He has experience in employment, real estate, finance, intellectual property, cybersecurity, class actions, and other business matters.

- Represented an education technology company in a lawsuit brought by a former executive employee, alleging breach of his employment agreement.

Minh-Van Do is a complex commercial litigator with trial and appellate experience in both state and federal court. Kiva G. Schrager

Jay Rakow
Jay Rakow has enjoyed a distinguished 40-year career as a lawyer, business executive, and CEO of two leading nonprofit organizations, handling billions of dollars of lawsuits as well as billions of dollars in IP licensing and corporate transactions.
Mr. Rakow is most prominently known through his business association with the late, legendary businessman Kirk Kerkorian. He served as an executive at Mr. Kerkorian’s holding company, Tracinda Corporation, and as President of the Lincy Foundation, the philanthropic organization founded by Kerkorian that contributed more than a billion dollars to charities.
Well known in the entertainment industry, Mr. Rakow also served as Senior Executive V.P. and General Counsel of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., an NYSE listed company, and before that, Senior V.P. and General Counsel of Paramount Pictures Corp. He was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2004.
Before joining Paramount, Rakow was a Partner in a prominent law firm, concentrating on corporate securities class actions, corporate control contests, and antitrust, contract, copyright, patent and entertainment litigation. He has successfully argued appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the California Supreme Court and various California Courts of Appeal.
Over the years, Mr. Rakow has served as a mediator or AAA arbitrator in dozens of business disputes.
Rakow also served as CEO of ProCon.org, an acclaimed non-profit, nonpartisan civic education website with more than 26,000,000 annual readers, and continues to serve on their Board. He also was Managing Director of a private equity firm focused on tech-based ventures.

Lauren Woodland
Lauren Woodland is a civil litigator specializing in business and entertainment litigation. She handles a broad range of matters including breach of contract, business torts, fraud, defamation, partnership disputes, and copyright infringement. Lauren is experienced in handling cases through all stages of litigation including mediation, trials, and appeals in both state and federal court.

Before becoming a lawyer, Lauren enjoyed a long and successful career in the entertainment industry. She is passionate about the arts and actively supports them. She serves as Vice-President of the Los Angeles Dance Company, and as Secretary of the Castro Organ Devotees Association (CODA), dedicated to saving the Wurlitzer pipe organ in San Francisco’s historic Castro Theatre.
